Extra Curricular

Enriching and extending life beyond the classroom sees the college offer many many opportunities to students.

Art Programs

Hepburn Shire has a long history of being a creative community and this extends to the College. Performing Arts at Daylesford College includes music, singing, dance and drama, as well as many combinations of each of these disciplines. All students study music and drama at Year 7 and 8 and can then chose to study it right through to the end of Year 12. Outside of the classroom the art program includes: annual college production, choir, concert band and instrumental music

Embed three photos … one of production / on stage, one of student playing an instrument and one of the bands playing.

Every year we have our performing arts showcase (a great night of music and dance); our college production (taking drama to the next level) and our visual arts exhibition (uncovering the next Banksy). Everyone is encouraged to come along and witness the talents of our amazing students!

Sport Programs

We have a healthy number of sporting teams that students can join. Students have the opportunity to experience and compete against other schools throughout the year. Our teams always punch well above their weight and often qualify for state finals. All students study health and phys ed at Year 7, 8 and 9 and can then chose to study it right through to the end of Year 12. Outside of the classroom, the sport program includes: volleyball, football, netball, cross-country, athletics, basketball, swimming, soccer and tennis.
